Spontaneous help in the flood disaster in Bochum-Dahlhausen

The neighborhood is overjoyed and grateful that one of our employees belongs to their neighborhood.
On 19.07.2021, when the streets were flooded by heavy continuous rain and the cellars were full of water, our colleague – without much thought – got powerful pumps (400 litres per minute) from Bochumer Eisenhütte, rolled up his sleeves and pumped the flood water out of the neighboring houses for 2 nights.
The entire team of Bochumer Eisenhütte is incredibly proud of their colleague. We would like to express our sincere thanks for his prudent actions, his tireless commitment and his social engagement.
