After the CORONA virus has caused unrest and tunneling stoppages in the past two months, also in various tunneling operations, efforts are currently being made to return to a “normal construction process”. The problem of the past weeks was the availability of the miners from the different European countries, due to the given entry and quarantine regulations. The Kramer Tunnel in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, for example, is also trying to match the tunnelling performance of the “pre-Corona period”. Construction sites and suppliers alike are working to complete the projects without further delays.
